Netpopulous was created to give communities and organizations a place to call home on the Internet. We've integrated four important technologies into our site (forums, blogging, photo albums, content management and classified ads) which when combined truly make Netpopulous a one stop shop for social interaction. Best of all it's 100% free for individuals and non-profit / public organizations, and partially free (forums, photo albums and classifieds) for businesses!

Uschmooze has changed its name to NetPopulous. Over the next few days we will be transitioning our content to the new URL. Your community and niche forum site just got better!

Besides the regular forums, NetPopulous now includes blogs and a complete content management system! Your launching point is the content management system (CMS), use the navigation bar along the top to jump over to blogs and forums. The Home button will take you back to the CMS side of our site.

So what's all the new functionality for? Well, the CMS will allow the site to organize many ideas that spring from the forums into structured content. It will also give communities, businesses, organizations and groups a nice neat page to use as a springboard to blogs and forum content. The CMS structure will be very similar to the hierarchical structure of the forums.

We need your help to build content, so let's get started!

1. Section Navigation Widget. This widget allows you to go to different sections. The "plus icon" means that this section has sub-sections. Clicking on the "plus icon" will display the sub-sections.

1. Editing a Section: If you have permissions to manage a Section, as you hover over the Section title, a pencil icon will display.

After clicking the pencil icon, you will be taken to the Section Edit page. Here's what you will see:

2. Section Name: Enter the Section Name
3. SEO URL Alias: This is the SEO Friendly URL. By default, if this is blank, the system will automatically copy the section title.
4. Section Layout: For each section you can define an individual section layout.

Here's a quick visual guide on how to create a new article with the CMS.

1. Create New Article Button: Navigate to the section you want the article to be published in. Click on the "Create a New Article" button. This will open an article form.
